"French President Macron will visit the solar energy plant at Dadar Kala in a helicopter. He will inaugurate the plant and address residents. He is most likely to invest around 45 minutes at the site," Mirzapur district magistrate Bimal Kumar Dubey informed the media.

When French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurates it on March 12, India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh is all set to get the biggest solar plant.

In January 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's national government broadened its solar strategies, targeting 100 billion U.S. dollars in financial investment and 100 GW of solar capacity by 2022. And the nation's effort of 100 GW of solar power by 2022 is an enthusiastic target.

The biggest solar energy plant of the state is being established by French firm Engie Solar in Mirzapur district, some 300 kms from Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow, and is anticipated to add 75 megawatt to the state's existing capacity.
