For the fourth consecutive year, LG Electronics has been awarded the Top Brand PV Europe 2017 Award. Based on an extensive independent survey conducted by EuPD Research, LG Electronics received top ratings for brand recognition and management across Europe, as well as the highest rating in the “modules” category.

The seal of approval is exclusively awarded to leading manufacturers, based on brand perception, brand positioning, market penetration and satisfaction. Since the award’s creation in 2010, LG Electronics has consistently ranked among the top manufacturers for quality and service.
BiFacial high-performance modules and efficient storage
As a leading photovoltaic developer, LG Electronics actively drives the technological development of “regenerative energies”, including the high-performance module NeON 2 BiFacial. Thanks to the transparent back foil and active cells on both sides, the energy yield for a single NeON 2 BiFacial module can reach 375 watts. LG Electronics has also launched a leading storage solution. The DC-coupled LG ESS reduces the number of power conversion steps and offers far higher overall efficiency. Thanks to the three-phase connection, it also ensures a stable current flow.
