Chinese solar products maker Sungrow Power Supply Co said it will supply some 150 MW of its central inverters to Indian renewables-focused firm Mytrah Energy Ltd

The inverters will be used for a number of photovoltaic (PV) projects in the country, located in the states of Telangana and Punjab. Specific details were not provided.

As part of the deal, Sungrow will help with the design, engineering, manufacture and assembly of the inverters for the planned solar schemes. The manufacturer explained that it will equip the facilities with its SG2500 Turnkey Solution, which ensures high yields and a maximum system efficiency of up to 99%, as well as easy and rapid deployment thanks to the 10-feet (3 metres) container design.
