Renewable energy scheme gets state cabinet's approval

The state cabinet approved the proposal of energy department under Chief Minister's New and Renewable Energy Scheme for installation of 3,000 solar pumps and one kilowatt offgrid power plants on residential and commercial buildings. 

Keeping in mind the security of Patna high court, the cabinet also approved creation of a separate post of DSP. It also approved the proposal to upgrade Harnaut in Nalanda district, the CM's home district, as a nagar panchayat.
