O2 Power, Avaada Energy Win RUMSL’s 550 MW Agar PV Project

Avaada Energy and O2 Power has won the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited’s (RUMSL) auction of 550 MW of Agar solar projects.

O2 Power won a capacity of 350 MW, at ₹2.444 and Avaada Energy won a capacity of 200 MW, at ₹2.459.

The capacity, Unit 1 Agar comprises 200 MW and Unit 2 Susner comprises 350 MW.

The Agar Solar Park is a proposed 550 MW photovoltaic power plant development in the Agar district of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It will be developed by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), a joint venture of Madhya Pradesh UrjaVikas Nigam (MPUVN), and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

The Agar Solar Park is part of a mega-project, involving the development of 550 MW Agar Solar Park, 500 MW Neemuch Solar Park and 450 MW Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. RUMSL had tendered a total of 1,500 MW of grid-connected solar projects to be developed across the three solar parks in the state.

The tender had received a great response from the bidders.
