From September 15 – 17, LONGi participated in the three-day Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2021 in Greater Noida. At the most influential solar energy industry event, LONGi Solar (LONGi) further strengthened its brand image, market presence as well as attracted wide attention from the industry audience. The rooms of LONGi solar were one of the most popular and busiest at the expo.
LONGi saw a great response at the expo. Customer satisfaction is one of LONGi’s core values and REI provided an opportunity to interact with potential customers. The Hi-MO 5 series drew high interest and queries from visitors. The product was discussed in detail as to how the latest Hi-MO 5 series will be a more prominent product to use in ultra large scale utility projects, revealed senior officials of LONGi.
LONGi Signs a Partnership Agreement with Power n Sun During REI 2021
LONGi, the largest solar manufacturer in the world and Power n Sun (UAE), the largest solar distribution house in the Middle East, have recently announced a partnership to expand their strong relationship for the India & Sri Lanka Market. During REI 2021 the agreement was signed formally between Mr. Arijit Mitra, DGM – Channel Business – India & Sri Lanka, LONGi Solar and Mr. L. K. Verma, Managing Director, Power n Sun.
“This partnership is in line with the vision to exchange each other’s expertise and jointly serve the Indian PV market with world-class PV modules through the expertise distribution channel. The partnership will support each other’s presence in all corners of the solar business and also help us further enhance our brand”, stated Pradeep Kumar, Managing Director, LONGi India and Srilanka.

LONGi Sees Great Potential for 182mm Size Modules to Reach 70% Next Year
LONGi is the leading player contributing nearly 58% share of total shipments of Q2 2021. As per the market players’ data, the high-efficiency mono PERC modules are now the most preferred type contributing more than 70% share of India’s total shipments in Q2 2021.
In terms of the overall development of the PV industry, the 182mm size modules promoted by LONGi, will be released in large quantities during the second half of this year and LONGi foresees 182mm accounting for more than 50% of module shipments in existing domestic and overseas markets in 2021, reaching 70% next year.
Solution-related Services from LONGi
LONGi has been launching solution-related services for many of its core customers, offering solutions for projects in periods of power station development, helping maximize revenue during the construction of the station. Additionally, a digital energy service platform with a complete set of service tools has been built and developed internally over a period of one and a half years, with this business now expanding on a large scale.
