The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), through its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) named Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy Limited invites online bids For Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning and Comprehensive O&M of cumulative 5 MW (AC) Ground Mounted Solar PV Power Plant at Village Bhilkheda, Taluka Karanja Lad District Washim, Maharashtra.
Last date of submission of RFP is 10/02/2022 (upto1500 hours IST) and Pre-bid meeting will be held on 24/01/2022 at 12.00 hrs.
Right to accept or reject any or all the RFQ without assigning any reason whatsoever is reserved with MSRDC.
Cost of RFP document is Rs. 25,000 + GST and processing fee of Rs. 2,00,000/
In addition, within ten days of receiving the letter of acceptance, the successful bidder must submit 10% of the contract amount.
The winning bidder will also be responsible for land development as required by the project, as well as laying transmission lines from the solar power facility to the nearest MSEDCL or Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited substation (MSETCL).
To be qualified, bidders must have built and installed grid-connected solar power plants with a total capacity of 3 MW or more.
At least one solar project should have a capacity of 1 MW or more, and the project should have been operational for at least six months before the bid deadline.
Furthermore, the bidders must have completed at least one electrical substation with a voltage level of 11/22 kV or above, comprising equipment such as a voltage circuit breaker and a power transformer.
Bidders’ average annual turnover must not be less than ₹100 million (~$1.35 million) in the last three financial years. In the last financial year, their net worth must be over ₹50 million (~$676,105).
The solar modules should be covered by a ten-year warranty from the winning bidder.
According to the tender document, the capacity utilization factor (CUF) should be a minimum of 25.09%. Any CUF shortage would result in liquidated damages of 25% of the power sale rate agreed upon by MREL and MSEDCL.
Earlier this month Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a public sector venture under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation, inspection, and commissioning of decentralized solar systems spanning from 2 MW to 10 MW with a combined capacity of 25 MW at multiple Maharashtra substations.
