NCT Group and Solarvest plan to build 1,000 units of solar-ready warehouses and factories at SSIP in order to reach their shared decarbonization goals. The MOU covers the provision of decarbonisation service across NCT’s Malaysian facilities, as well as exploring the possibilities in renewable energy like solar and green hydrogen, energy efficiency, and electric mobility.

Solarvest executive director and group chief executive officer Davis Chong Chun Shiong said, “We are pleased to embark on this partnership with NCT Group as we both share the common goal of creating a world with accessible clean energy. This SSIP development is set to reduce the industrial and commercial carbon footprints quite significantly.”
