The energy ministry said that Israel has launched a plan for accelerating the deployment of renewable energy infrastructures across the country.
The plan aims to install renewable energy facilities in new and non-residential buildings in Israel and to remove obstacles to expanding the electricity grid so that more renewable energy is carried, citing the statement.
Moreover, 70 state-owned businesses will incorporate renewable energy into their existing assets and infrastructure and increase energy efficiency.
The statement stated that renewable energy will now be considered when planning infrastructure and construction projects.
