Infinity Power plans to launch a 200-MW solar power plant in partnership with others. This was announced by Omar Nagy, head of the wind sector at Infinity Power, during a seminar about the company’s future plans and business.
Nagy said that the project is still being reviewed and could take up to two years.
He noted that the plant will be built in the Gulf of Suez. The company is also working to develop wind energy projects with a total capacity of 2800 MW.
The company will examine the possibility of establishing projects in wind energy in the east and western Nile regions in the near future.
It is important to note that the company’s strategy focuses on diversifying energy sources and expanding in renewable power.
