IRCON Issues Consultancy Tender for 500 MW Solar PV Project in Karnataka

IRCON Renewable Power ( IRPL), a subsidiary owned by the Union government-owned IRCON International has opened a call for bids to hire a Project Management Consultant (PMC), for 500 MW grid-connected Solar projects at Pavagada, Karnataka.

The online bids must be submitted by February 2, 2023, and they will be publicly opened on the next day.

This work involves providing project management services, such as setting communication procedures, monitoring project progression, preparing reports and monitoring quality, safety, environment (QHSE), compliance. monitoring procurement plans, and issuing work completion and material delivery certificates.

EMD amount is 7,96,200/- and fees for participating in the bidding is Rs. 20,000/-.

The consultant selected should provide performance security equal to 3% of the work costs.

The work must be completed by the consultant no later than September 2024. Liquid damages will be assessed at 0.25 percent of the contract value very week for any delay in work. Compensation for delay can only be recovered up to 5% of contract value.
