Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, has signed an agreement to partner with Bidgely to help accelerate a clean-energy future. This agreement enables consumers and utilities to make data-driven decisions about energy.
Mohammad Bin Sulaiman (Cedar CEO at Moro Hub) and Abhay Gupta (Bidgely’s CEO and Co-Founder), signed the agreement. This agreement will provide the best customer engagement possible through AI-based load disaggregation. It is the first of its kind in the Middle East. Moro Hub, which uses only smart meters data, and Bidgely’s UtilityAI(tm), Platform, will be able to deliver appliance-level consumption insights for its customers to help them understand the impact of individual energy use on their electricity bills. Integration of Moro Hub with Bidgely will allow for data-driven operations that improve energy efficiency and grid management.
Mohammad Bin Sulaiman said, “As the world is increasingly inclined to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and the rising cost of energy, it is crucial that energy users are empowered with information about their consumption habits. Bidgely has a proven track record in improving customer engagement via AI. We are delighted to be one of their strategic partners to bring this groundbreaking technology to an extensive utility audience in the Middle East.”
Bidgely has more than 50 global utility and retailer partners. Its AI-driven data analytics provides easy-to-understand energy reports and appliance-level consumption insights, as well as customized energy-saving tips for 30 million homes. Bidgely’s UtilityAI Platform, which is a patent-pending technology, helps energy retailers and utilities to use data-driven behavior patterns in order to plan and effectively manage demand changes within their network. Bidgely uses full customer data, not samplings or surveys. This allows for smart decision-making and behavior modifications that improve energy management both for energy providers and customers.
“We applaud Moro Hub as innovators and their commitment to providing unmatched customer experiences using advanced technology. Bidgely’s smart meters are already in use. This solution allows for energy and cost savings, while also preparing the country for the grid of the future,” said Gautam Aggarwal is Chief Revenue Officer at Bidgely.
