LuLu, in collaboration with Kanoo Renewable Energy & CleanMax, aims to produce 0.87 Mn kWh of electricity within the first year.
The solar installation will reduce LuLu Warehouse’s carbon footprint and result in significant energy savings. This is a demonstration of LuLu’s commitment to eco-friendliness, ESG, and sustainability.
This project was a major achievement for LuLu, which aims to reduce carbon emissions, promote energy efficiency, and support the Kingdom’s sustainability development.
Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Saudi Hypermarket expressed excitement over the project and the chance to work with Kanoo as well as CleanMax.
The solar project will be completed by the end of the year. This will result in significant carbon reductions and energy cost savings for LuLu.
LuLu will also support sustainable development if their production exceeds the requirements.
LuLu has taken an important step in demonstrating their commitment to ESG, and eco-friendliness with this solar project.
