NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has released an invitation for online bids for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at their Khavda RE Park in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of the BESS for solar PV-based construction power. The battery storage system should have a minimum capacity of 250KW and 1200 kWh by the end of the third year.
It should include a Power Conditioning System (PCS) with a capacity of at least 250KW and black start facility for bidirectional charging of batteries. Containerized storage and a Battery Management System (BMS) for monitoring battery healthiness are also required.
The comprehensive operation and maintenance of the BESS for three years from the project’s commissioning date are part of the package. The bidding documents can be obtained from the e-tender portal, and the last date for bid submission is 27th July 2023 at 15:00 IST. Bidders must provide a bid security of INR 10,00,000/- along with their bids.
