JA Solar became the first Chinese private sector and the worldโ€™s first solar PV company member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). During the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Summit in New York, Peter Bakker, President and CEO of WBCSD, along with his senior management team, conducted a membership induction ceremony and presented JA Solar with an official WBCSD membership certificate.
