
ATG and AJB Investment, leading renewable energy companies, have announced a partnership with Nippon Energy, a Japanese solar energy solutions provider, to develop the 118MWp Hattem Solar Power Plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This project aligns with the UAE’s commitment to sustainability and its goal to host the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2023.
The Hattem Solar Power Plant is expected to generate an estimated 4,867GWh of clean energy annually, equivalent to powering over 400,000 homes. This project will significantly contribute to the UAE’s target of generating 40% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
The Hattem Solar Power Plant is expected to be completed in 2024. This project is a significant step forward in the UAE’s transition to a clean energy future.
