Riffa Views Owners Association (RVOA), a prominent association in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has entered into a transformative 25-year collaboration with SirajPower, a renowned distributed solar energy provider in the GCC. This strategic alliance aims to implement innovative solar solutions with a capacity of 1.6 MWp at Riffa Views, contributing to substantial reductions in both carbon emissions and energy expenditures.
The announcement aligns with Bahrain’s commitment to sustainability, reflecting Riffa Views’ dedication to environmental preservation and positioning the community as the most sustainable within joint properties in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The official signing ceremony, held at Riffa Views headquarters, featured key figures including Mohamed Alshaikh, RVOA Board Vice-Chairman; Yasser Alraee, Riffa Views Managing Director and RVOA Association Manager; Laurent Longuet, CEO of SirajPower; and Mithun Chemmangat, Head of Business Development at SirajPower.
Mohamed Alshaikh, the Riffa Views Owners Association Board Vice-Chairman, highlighted the project’s strategic importance, declaring, “This initiative stands as one of the key strategic goals for the Riffa Views Association, aiming to position the Riffa Views residential community as a leading advocate for green development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Through this endeavor, we anticipate generating 70GWh of clean energy, making a significant contribution to the preservation and sustainability of the environment.”
Yasser Alraee, Riffa Views Managing Director, conveyed his deep satisfaction with the 25-year collaboration with SirajPower, underscoring the commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. He expressed, “This partnership marks a crucial milestone in our continuous efforts towards achieving carbon neutrality and enhancing energy efficiency.”
Laurent Longuet, CEO at SirajPower, expressed pleasure in embarking on this revolutionary partnership, supporting Riffa Views’ clean energy goals with cutting-edge solar solutions. He highlighted the project’s significance in promoting sustainability in the Kingdom and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future in alignment with Bahrainโs sustainability commitments.
Over the project’s 25-year lifespan, the goal is to generate a substantial 70GWh of energy, equivalent to planting over 810 thousand tree seedlings for a decade and offsetting approximately 50,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
