Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL) has announced a tender inviting bids for the preparation of a detailed feasibility report (DFR) and detailed project report (DPR) for a 500 MW solar park in Gujarat.
The deadline for submitting bids is set for December 26, 2023, with bid opening scheduled for December 30 of the same year.
GSECL’s proposal outlines the development of a 500 MW solar park at the Great Rann of Harsad in Banaskantha. The specific location details will be disclosed only upon the completion of the tender process with the successful bidder.
A โน5,900 tender fee and a โน59,160 earnest money deposit are needed from bidders.
The land allocated for the solar park is spread across 5 to 6 land pockets within a 15 to 20 km range.
Bidders are expected to have prior experience in conducting feasibility studies, preparing reports, and creating DPRs for solar parks or ground-mounted solar photovoltaic grid-connected projects. The cumulative experience should demonstrate a minimum capacity of 100 MW, with individual projects of at least 10 MW.
Furthermore, bidders must possess licensed software for energy estimation evaluation and have an adequately skilled workforce with relevant experience in handling such tasks. The use of licensed data sources for energy estimation evaluation is also a prerequisite.
Financial eligibility criteria include a cumulative turnover of at least โน48.9 lakhs over the last three financial years, and a positive net worth during the last financial year.
