The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has issued an invitation for bids to provide consultancy services for 10 MW grid-connected solar projects, complete with a land lease option at any location in Gujarat.
The outlined scope of work encompasses comprehensive maintenance for a period of up to 10 years, with the added benefit of free maintenance during the initial year. Interested parties must submit their bids by January 8, 2024.
The bid fee is โน1,770, and the earnest money deposit is โน45,000 for each bidder.
The task at hand is divided into two key components: firstly, obtaining approval for drawings, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for materials/equipment, pre-dispatch inspection, and site supervision; and secondly, conducting performance testing and verifying energy generation.
Failure to adhere to the stipulated deadline during the execution of the work will incur a penalty of 0.20% per day for the unexecuted portion of the sanctioned tender amount, not exceeding 10% of the total unexecuted portion.
To qualify, the consultant must possess a minimum of five years of experience in solar projects. For consulting firms, at least one professional within the firm must have this level of experience.
Furthermore, the consultant is required to showcase a successful track record, having completed consultancy for a minimum of three distinct projects involving either ground-mounted solar projects or rooftop solar projects. These projects collectively should have a minimum capacity of 5 MW and should have been executed for government entities, semi-government organizations, public sector units, or well-known public companies.
