NLC Invites Bids for 393.9 MWp Solar PV Modules for GSECL’s Solar Park in Gujarat

NLCIL, representing NLC India Green Energy Limited (NIGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLCIL, calls for online bids to procure Solar PV Modules for the construction of a 600 MW Solar Project in GSECL’s Solar Park at Khavda (GSECLโ€™s Stage-2).

The scope of the supply includes the manufacturing, supply, packaging, forwarding, and transportation of crystalline solar PV modules with nominal wattage and dimensions as specified in the scope of supply at the technical specification up to Khavda, Gujarat, including transit insurance.

The last date for the submission of bids is February 27, 2024. Bids will be opened the same day.

The bidder is required to provide โ‚น20,000 as the bid document’s cost.

A contract performance guarantee equal to 3% of the project value must be submitted by the winning bidder.

The bidder must have a track record of supplying Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Modules or Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) cells with a cumulative capacity of 40 MWp or more. Additionally, there should be at least one supply order for a capacity of 10 MWp or higher prior to the Techno-commercial Bid opening date.

The bidderโ€™s average annual turnover for the last 3 consecutive financial years should not be less than Rs 198 crores. They must also have a positive net worth as per the latest audited financial statement.

Solar PV modules employed in Solar Power Plants/Systems must carry a warranty for product workmanship lasting a minimum of 12 years. Additionally, they are required to have a warranty for their peak watt capacity output, ensuring it remains no less than 90% at the conclusion of 12 years and 80% at the end of 30 years from the receipt of the last batch/lot of PV modules on-site.
