Chaberton Energy Holdings has marked a significant milestone, surpassing 100 solar energy sites under contract in less than four years. With ambitious plans to double its growth in the next two years, the company aims to solidify its position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector.

Stefano Ratti, CEO and founder of Chaberton Energy, voiced pride in the team’s efforts, highlighting the company’s commitment to advancing the energy transition while delivering cost savings to customers. Since its establishment in 2020, Chaberton has expanded nationally as a community solar developer, operating in over 10 states and diversifying its portfolio to include commercial and industrial projects.

The growth of community solar installations has been remarkable, with cumulative capacity skyrocketing from 85 MWDC in 2015 to 6.2 GWDC in 2023, according to Wood Mackenzie and the Solar Energy Industries Association. This upward trajectory is expected to persist, buoyed by favorable state solar policies and legislative support such as the Inflation Reduction Act.
