SUNPURE, a leading player in solar technology, has inked a significant supply agreement with Powerchina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited to deploy state-of-the-art PV cleaning robots for the Saad 2 project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This strategic collaboration is set to cover a robust capacity of 1100MW and marks a pivotal step in KSA’s renewable energy initiatives.
Situated in the Saad region east of Riyadh, the Saad 2 project is a pivotal component of KSA’s Public Investment Fund 3 (PIF 3). Representing the largest batch of ground-mounted solar power plants in the country to date, PIF 3 aims to provide renewable energy to approximately 750,000 households upon completion.
SUNPURE’s role in this initiative involves supplying over 5,000 units of its advanced cleaning robots, contributing to a total capacity of over 2 GW. These robots are poised to play a crucial role in mitigating soiling loss, thus ensuring sustained power generation revenue for the solar plants. This collaboration underscores SUNPURE’s remarkable prowess and influence in the Middle East region, emphasizing its commitment to technological innovation and providing cutting-edge solutions for the evolving energy landscape.
SUNPURE is dedicated to ongoing enhancements of its products and services, aiming to deliver heightened value to its customers and actively support the energy transformation goals in the Middle East.
