Renewable Watch hosted a conference named ‘Net Zero Strategies and Green Power Procurement for Corporates’ in Mumbai on March 14, 2024. The event aimed to throw light on the changing dynamics of corporate renewable energy adoption, showcasing discussions on strategies, emerging opportunities, and the trajectory of the green corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) market.

During a crucial session, Mr. Anil V. Kale, Head of Strategy and Regulatory at PXIL, delivered an extensive presentation on the ‘Role of Power Exchanges.’ His talk encompassed vital topics such as major trading mechanisms in Indian power exchanges for renewable power, growth trends in the electricity segment, insights into price discovery across different contracts, and upcoming trading mechanisms like the pilot phase on Market Coupling.
