TP Saurya Limited Completes 200 MW Solar Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan

TP Saurya Limited (TPSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has announced the successful commissioning of a 200MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, for Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL).

Expected to generate 485 million units of energy annually, the project reinforces TPSL’s commitment to bolstering India’s renewable energy capacity. Moreover, it will be seamlessly integrated into the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) Bus, facilitating efficient distribution of clean energy across the region.

Despite facing challenges such as adverse weather conditions and geopolitical hurdles, the project was completed within the designated timeline, underscoring TPREL’s dedication to sustainable energy solutions and exceptional project execution.

With an estimated annual decrease of 3,88,000 tonnes in carbon footprint and the installation of approximately 5,23,365 modules, the initiative is set to make a significant impact on environmental sustainability.

TPREL’s total renewables capacity now stands at 9,018 MW, including 4,547 MW projects under various stages of implementation and an operational capacity of 4,471 MW, comprising 3,444 MW solar and 1,027 MW wind. The company remains committed to pioneering innovative renewable energy projects and advancing towards a cleaner, greener future for India and beyond.
