Indian Oil Releases Tender for Operation & Maintenance of 1 MW On-Grid Open Access Captive Solar Power Project in Haryana

Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has announced a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 1 MW grid-connected captive solar power project at its Northern Region Pipelines in Kurukshetra, Haryana.

The scope of the contract includes project commissioning, one year of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services post-construction, and an additional nine years of extended operation and maintenance support.

The deadline for bid submissions is April 29, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the following day.

The contract duration spans 127 months from the date of the letter of acceptance, divided into Part-A (19 months for project commissioning and initial O&M) and Part-B (nine years of extended O&M).

The tender requires an earnest money deposit of โ‚น641,700, with exemptions for central and state public sector undertakings and IOCL joint ventures.

Bidders must demonstrate an annual turnover of at least โ‚น4.19 crore during any one of the preceding three financial years.

Eligible bidders must have experience in executing at least 1 MW of on-grid solar power projects with specific metering arrangements within the past seven years. This experience should include multiple projects of varying values, meeting the specified criteria.
