In shaping our approach to sustainability and climate change initiatives, our experience in both North and South America has been instrumental. Recognizing the distinct dynamics of these markets, we’ve tailored our strategies accordingly.

In North America, where sustainability practices and the adoption of Net Zero strategies are prevalent, we’ve been actively engaged in supporting corporations in achieving their Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality Goals. Leveraging our end-to-end solutions, which encompass GHG accounting, decarbonization planning and emission offsetting using high-quality credits, facilitated by our digital platforms in collaboration with our partner company WOCE.

Conversely, South America’s focus leans more towards the conservation of green spaces and mitigating climate change through diverse projects such as reforestation/afforestation, renewable energy, waste to energy, and biogas initiatives. Here, our role involves working closely with project owners, providing consultancy services to develop and register projects with appropriate carbon mechanisms. Each project undergoes rigorous assessment to ensure alignment with the integrity expectations of our stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies. This meticulous approach guarantees the generation of high-quality carbon offsets, empowering end-users to effectively offset their emissions.

In the pursuit of advancing sustainability goals, EKI Energy has strategically forged robust partnerships in America over the last decade. These partnerships, particularly with our channel and trading partners across the Americas, have been pivotal. They ensure our widespread presence across industries and regions, facilitating the supply of high-quality carbon offsets and sustainability services to diverse clients. Through these collaborations, we stand firmly committed to supporting our clients in their Net Zero journeys, thereby contributing significantly to the collective efforts towards a more sustainable future.

3. How is EKI Energy expanding its market presence in America, particularly in the renewable energy sector?

EKI is actively expanding its market presence in America, with a particular focus on the renewable energy sector. We’re currently delving into local Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) markets and carbon registries such as ACR and CAR, aiming to register devices in renewable energy projects. While still in its early stages, our goal is to significantly scale this initiative over the next three years. We aim to mobilize at least 5 million RECs in the North American market, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

In South America, EKI has already established a strong presence in the renewable energy sector. Through our consulting services for carbon offsets, we’re actively involved in over 20 projects. This solidifies our position as a key player in driving sustainability and renewable energy initiatives across the region

Our vision for EKI’s future in America is centered on expansion and innovation over the next 3 to 5 years. We are committed to broadening our footprint across the Americas, building upon our existing base. Already, we’re experiencing accelerated growth, welcoming new clients who share our commitment to achieving Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality.

One significant advancement is the integration of digital solutions into our offerings for GHG accounting and offsetting, made possible through our partnership with WOCE (World Of Circular Economy). This partnership represents a substantial leap forward, enabling us to extend our reach across various industries in the Americas. With these digital solutions, we aim to target hard-to-abate sectors, supporting their efforts to reduce carbon footprints and transition to greener practices.

Looking ahead, resource addition will be a key aspect of our strategic plan. By continuously investing in talent and expertise, we will strengthen our capabilities to deliver innovative solutions and drive sustainable change across the region. As we evolve, our role will be increasingly pivotal in shaping the trajectory towards a more sustainable future in America.

6. Can you elaborate on any specific collaborations or joint initiatives EKI Energy has undertaken with American organizations to promote sustainability? 

Currently, EKI has not formalized any partnerships. However, we are actively engaged in discussions with several American organisations specializing in carbon capture, blue carbon and related initiatives. These discussions align with our vision to expand our presence in the Americas and establish long-term collaborations that promote sustainability. As we continue these dialogues, we remain committed to identifying strategic partnerships that will drive meaningful impact and advance our shared goals for a greener future.
