Jaipur Division of North Western Railway Invites Bids for 1.32 MW Rooftop Solar Plant Installation

The Jaipur Division of the North Western Railway has released a tender document inviting electronic bids for the provision of a grid-connected rooftop solar plant for non-railway station buildings across the Jaipur division. This initiative aims to install a solar plant with a capacity of 1320 kWp, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable energy practices.

The tender, numbered EL-JP-35R-2023-24, has a closing date of May 8, 2024, at 15:00 Hrs. Bidders are required to submit their original or revised bids electronically within this timeframe, as manual offers will not be accepted.

The advertised value of the tender stands at Rs. 72,831,161.09, with an earnest money deposit of Rs. 514,200.00. The completion period for the project is set at 6 months, and the contract falls under the category of works expenditure.

Notably, joint venture (JV) firms are not permitted to bid for this tender, and bids will be ranked from lowest to highest expenditure. The bidding process commenced on April 24, 2024, signaling the initiation of efforts to enhance renewable energy infrastructure within the Jaipur Division of the North Western Railway.
