Railway Issues Tender for Rooftop Solar Installations Across Vijayawada Division Buildings

The Ministry of Railways Issues Tender for Supply of Rooftop Solar Plants on Station Buildings and Service Buildings across BZA Division Grid, with Various Capacities.

The work involves designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning rooftop solar plants of various capacities, which will be installed over the platform covers.

The last date to submit the bids is May 30, 2024.

The bidder must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 3.71 lakh.

The Advertised value of the project is Rs 4.4 crore, with project completing period of 4 months.

The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially finished any of the following categories of works during the last seven years, ending on the last day of the month preceding the tender invitation:

• Three similar works, each costing at least 30% of the advertised value of the tender, OR
• Two similar works, each costing at least 40% of the advertised value of the tender, OR
• One similar work, costing at least 60% of the advertised value of the tender.

The tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of Rs 17.6 crores.

The tenderer must possess a valid ‘B’ Grade Electrical Contractor’s License issued by the State Electrical Licensing Board. This license should have been issued before the tender opening date.
