Astronergy, a leading solar module manufacturer, proudly received the prestigious “2024 Kiwa PVEL TOP Performer” award for the eighth time during the second day of the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai, China. This accolade, based on Kiwa PVELโs rigorous PV Module Reliability Scorecard, underscores Astronergy’s ongoing commitment to excellence in product quality and reliability.
Kiwa PVELโs Product Qualification Program (PQP) evaluates PV modules through comprehensive lab and field tests aimed at assessing their bankability. The PV Module Reliability Scorecard, a key outcome of this program, provides crucial insights into the long-term performance and durability of PV modules across various conditions.
The 2024 PV Module Reliability Scorecard highlighted Astronergy’s modules in the Top Performer category, excelling in tests such as thermal cycling, damp heat, mechanical stress sequence, hail stress sequence, PID, LID, LETID, and PAN performance. Notably, 11 of Astronergyโs ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules achieved Top Performer status in this yearโs evaluation.
Jack Zhou, Head of Global Product Technical Management at Astronergy, expressed enthusiasm about the award, stating, โWe are thrilled to receive the 2024 Kiwa PVEL TOP Performer award. This recognition underscores our commitment to continuous research and development, ensuring that we deliver PV modules with exceptional efficiency and reliability to meet the diverse needs of our global customers.โ
Tristan Erion-Lorico, VP of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL, congratulated Astronergy on their achievement, remarking, โThrough rigorous testing, Astronergy has demonstrated their dedication to product quality and reliability. We look forward to their ongoing innovations in solar technology.โ
Astronergy, a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, recently upgraded its cell technology to TOPCon 4.0 in 2024, marking a significant advancement in the PV industry. By leveraging technologies like ZBB-TF, high-density encapsulation, and non-destructive cutting, Astronergy continues to enhance the efficiency, power generation capability, and cost-effectiveness of its n-type TOPCon module products.
