TotalEnergies ENEOS has successfully installed and activated a 450 kilowatt-peak (kWp) Solar Rooftop Project with SWTS Pte Ltd in Singapore. SWTS, an independent technical service provider with over 50 years of experience, operates one of the largest and best-equipped workshops in Southeast Asia. The new system will supply renewable energy to its facility in Singapore.

The photovoltaic system, featuring over 760 modules, generates approximately 550 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable electricity annually, sufficient to power about 130 four-room HDB flats for a year. This will help SWTS achieve cost savings and reduce its carbon footprint by about 210 tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting around 3,200 trees.

Under the agreement, TotalEnergies ENEOS has fully funded, installed, and will operate the solar system, while SWTS will pay only for the electricity generated over the next 17 years, avoiding any upfront costs.

โ€œA core value for us at SWTS is โ€˜We Act Responsiblyโ€™. We make decisions that take into account their impact on society, the environment, and future generations. Transitioning to solar power is a necessary move in our ESG journey and we are grateful to TotalEnergies ENEOS for helping us achieve thisโ€ said Sim Bee Lim, Group CEO of SWTS Asia.

As a leading solar service provider for commercial and industrial businesses, TotalEnergies ENEOS is committed to helping SWTS to reduce both their energy costs and carbon footprint. This project marks the beginning of our partnership, and I am excited about the potential for future collaborations.โ€ said Elodie Renaud, Director of TotalEnergies ENEOS Renewables Distributed Generation Asia.
