NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. Announces Tender for 1000 KW Rooftop Solar Project at MIDHANI Hyderabad

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN) has issued a tender for the development of a 1000 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at MIDHANI Hyderabad. The project is part of NVVN’s commitment to advancing renewable energy initiatives and is open for bids on the Government e-Procurement portal of NIC (GePNIC) at eprocurentpc.nic.in.

Project Scope and Requirements

The project involves the installation of Solar Photo Voltaic (PV) systems on the rooftops of MIDHANI Hyderabad’s buildings. The work includes designing, engineering, and implementing the solar PV installations to maximize energy generation. The successful bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including preliminary site assessment, water arrangements, electricity, security, and determining the optimal capacity for the solar power plants. Additionally, the contractor will handle operation and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years.

The cost of the bidding document is NIL. However, a bid security of INR 5,00,000 (Five Lakh Rupees) is required. Bidders can submit the bid security through electronic fund transfer.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Bidders must download the bidding documents from the GePNIC portal and register using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) Class-3 key. The use of DSC Class-3 is mandatory for e-tendering activities.
• The tender is open to Class-I and Class-II local suppliers as defined in the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order.
• Bidders from countries sharing a land border with India must be registered with the Competent Authority, as specified in the bidding documents. This requirement does not apply to bidders from countries with Government of India credit lines or development projects.
