North Western Railway’s Jaipur Division Seeks Bids for 2748 kWp Rooftop Solar Power Plant Installation

The Jaipur Division has announced a significant opportunity for the development of a grid-connected rooftop solar power plant with a total capacity of 2748 kWp. The tender for this project, classified as an “Open Bidding System Two Packet System,” is now open for bids and is set to close on August 23, 2024, at 15:00.

The project encompasses the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an on-grid solar power system, which includes wall-mounted inverters, SPV arrays, module mounting structures, power conditioning units, MPPT controls, protections, interconnecting cables, switch gears, and other necessary accessories. The system is required to support grid power with a power factor greater than 0.95 and to operate within a temperature range of -5 to +55 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the installation must include solar meters and net meters approved by the government.

The tender is valued at approximately โ‚น11.35 crore, and bidders must provide an earnest money deposit of โ‚น7.17 lakh. The contract’s duration is six months from the start date, with a requirement for a 90-day validity period for offers. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this tender.

The project falls under the “Works Contract Category Expenditure,” and joint venture firms are permitted to submit bids. The bidding process will begin on August 9, 2024. The lowest bid will be given priority in the selection process.
