The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has granted provisional enlistment to additional solar PV module models from two companies under its Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-1. This decision is based on the MNREโ€™s order dated May 10, 2023.

M/s. Vikram Solar Limited, located in Falta Special Economic Zone, West Bengal, has received provisional enlistment for two additional solar PV module models. This provisional status allows the company to proceed with its models in ALMM List-1, but the final enlistment will be confirmed later. This confirmation will depend on whether the company meets all conditions and guidelines set by the ALMM Order, and on further government scrutiny. The company has an applied capacity of 1,500 MW per year. It is important to note that neither the MNRE, National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), nor their officials will be responsible for any issues arising from these models if they do not achieve final enlistment.

Similarly, M/s. Novasys Greenergy Private Limited, based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has been granted provisional enlistment for six additional solar PV module models. The final status of these models will be confirmed later, subject to the company fulfilling the necessary conditions and undergoing government scrutiny. Novasys Greenergy has an applied capacity of 500 MW per year. As with Vikram Solar, the MNRE, NISE, and their representatives are not liable for any losses or issues if these models do not receive final enlistment.

Both companies must comply with all ALMM guidelines and instructions to secure final enlistment. The provisional enlistment allows these companies to advance their models’ inclusion in the ALMM List-1 while adhering to the set conditions and government evaluations.
