In the latest release of Taiyang News Top Solar Modules listing for August 2024, Huasun Energy has made a significant impact, with its heterojunction (HJT) module leading the pack. The company’s HJT module has seen its efficiency rise from 23.02% to 23.18%, while its power output has surged to an unprecedented 720 W, marking a new record in the listing. This achievement is particularly noteworthy as the listing includes only commercially available modules used in solar projects.
The impressive numbers of 23.18% and 720W are created by Huasun’s Himalaya series G12-132 HJT module. This remarkable achievement not only crowns it as the most powerful module on the list but also the most efficient among all non-back contact (non-BC) products.
As highlighted by TaiyangNews, Huasun’s HJT module, introduced in September 2023, which moved to the 4th position in May 2024, has now improved efficiency and power ratings. The Himalaya series module is based on the G12 wafer size and features a 132-half-cell configuration. Notably, this product was the first to surpass the 700 W benchmark, solidifying its place as a leader in the industry.
The module is bifacial, which, along with its high-power attribute, makes the product highly compatible with utility-scale applications. This 2 mm double glass bifacial module has a bifaciality of up to 95% and measures 2,384 x 1,303 x 33 mm, with a weight of 37.9 kg. Additionally, it comes with a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year power warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
By leveraging state-of-the-art heterojunction solar technology, Huasun is not only pushing the boundaries of solar module performance but also delivering exceptional value to its clients, accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future. The Himalaya G12-132 solar module sets a new industry standard, combining high power output with cutting-edge efficiency to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions.
To date, Huasun has supplied over 6 GW of HJT products to more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, earning widespread acclaim. As the photovoltaic (PV) industry enters a crucial phase of high-quality development, Huasun remains committed to focusing on HJT technology, intensifying its research and development efforts. The company aims to provide customers with higher power, greater efficiency, superior performance, and more economically viable PV products, contributing significantly to the global zero-carbon vision.
