The Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has announced an e-tender for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance of distributed grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The project, which also includes the installation of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for the solarization of 10,000 grid-connected agriculture pumps under the KUSUM Component C-1 Scheme, is set to be implemented across the state.
Project Details and Specifications
The project, estimated at a total cost of ₹407.41 crores, including GST, is expected to be completed within four months from the issuance of the work order. The quantity of the work is tentative and depends on the availability of funds.
Bidding and Submission Guidelines
Interested parties can access the tender document on the e-tender portal (etender.up.nic.in) starting from August 30, 2024. The cost of the e-tender is set at ₹11,800, inclusive of GST, and can be paid through Demand Draft (DD), RTGS/NEFT, or any other online mode. The deadline for bid submission is September 23, 2024, by 6:00 pm, with the technical bids scheduled to be opened on September 24, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened at a later date.
Eligibility Criteria
The bidding is open to firms registered under the Companies Act, partnership firms, limited liability partnerships, proprietorships, or system integrators. Bidders must have valid test reports from MNRE-authorized or NABL-accredited test labs and must have supplied and installed similar products in the last five years to any central or state government organization.
The bidder should also meet specific financial requirements, including an average annual turnover based on the capacity of pumps they intend to bid for. The turnover requirements range from ₹11.18 crores to ₹58.85 crores depending on the pump capacity. Additionally, bidders must have a positive net worth as of the last financial year.
