NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan to develop 25 GW of renewable energy projects in the state. The agreement was formalized during the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet held in New Delhi.
The MoU was exchanged by Shri K S Sundaram, Director (Projects), NGEL, and Shri Alok, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), in the presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister. Senior officials from both NGEL and the Rajasthan Government were also in attendance.
The projects are expected to significantly boost the renewable energy capacity in Rajasthan, aligning with India’s clean energy goals.
