MCL Invites Bids for 1.5 MW Solar Rooftop Power Plant Project

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has released a tender for the design, engineering, supply, storage, civil works, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 1.5 MW aggregated capacity Grid Connected Solar Rooftop Power Plant. The project includes ensuring compliance with Odisha State Policies regarding connectivity permissions, metering, insurance, and quality control, as well as a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for five years following a one-year warranty period. The estimated cost of the project is โ‚น8,08,63,650, including GST and BOCW Welfare Cess, with an earnest money deposit of โ‚น10,10,800.

The completion period for the project is set at 2,430 days, which consists of 240 days for the project execution and 1,825 days for the CAMC after the warranty period. This initiative will be implemented across various residential and non-residential buildings of MCL, including the MCL headquarters.

Eligible bidders include individuals, proprietorship firms, partnership firms, companies, joint ventures, or any legal entities that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Clause No. 8 of the NIT and possess a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) issued by an agency authorized by the Controller of Certifying Authority (CCA), Government of India. Notably, joint ventures will not be permitted to participate in this tender.
