On October 2, Huasun Energy made a notable impact at the Solar Solutions Kortrijk 2024 exhibition, showcasing its Himalaya G12 and Everest G12R series heterojunction (HJT) products. The company highlighted its dedication to sustainability and advancing Europe’s energy transition.

Belgium is tackling coal depletion and energy import reliance by striving for a sustainable energy system. While achieving a record 1.8 GW in photovoltaic (PV) capacity in 2023, it needs to quadruple this to meet EU decarbonization targets.

Belgium’s wet winters pose challenges for PV efficiency, prompting a focus on distributed systems like rooftop installations. During project development, itโ€™s crucial to select high- efficiency PV modules while optimizing system design to accommodate local climatic conditions and spatial constraints, ensuring environmental sustainability and cost- effectiveness.

In Belgiumโ€™s challenging cloudy and rainy climate, Huasunโ€™s solar modules, featuring high-efficiency heterojunction cells and butyl adhesive encapsulation, showcased outstanding performance in low irradiance and high humidity conditions, attracting significant interest from visitors at Solar Solutions Kortrijk 2024.

Notably, the Himalaya G12-132 module garnered attention with its impressive champion power of 768.938W and conversion efficiency of 24.75%. Huasun also presented the complete Everest G12R series, tailored to meet diverse demands and application scenarios for Belgium’s distributed and utility PV markets.

A standout feature was the 0BB technology, which eliminates the busbar design. This innovative approach, combined with the โ€˜welding before laminationโ€™ process, reduces shading from ribbons and greatly improves both bifacial power generation and overall conversion efficiency.

Huasun has achieved significant strides in the global green energy sector, supplying over 7 GW of heterojunction photovoltaic modules to more than 40 countries. These modules exhibit excellent adaptability in various environments and extreme climates.

Committed to advancing the European PV market toward greater sustainability and efficiency, Huasun aims to navigate market challenges and opportunities by collaborating with global partners to achieve goals of high efficiency, environmental protection, and reliability.
