Gurīn Energy, a leading renewable energy developer in Asia, has announced the appointment of Her Excellency Retno Marsudi as a Non-Executive Director, effective November 21, 2024. In this role, Mrs. Marsudi will offer strategic guidance to the company’s management team and play a key part in strengthening the company’s governance.
Mrs. Marsudi brings with her a distinguished four-decade career in Indonesia’s foreign service, including serving as the country’s first female Minister for Foreign Affairs under President Joko Widodo. Known for her work on sustainable development, she has earned numerous prestigious awards, including the United Nations’ Agent of Change Award for her efforts in gender equality and women’s empowerment.
