The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited (TSREDCO) has announced the empanelment of Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) vendors for the development of grid-connected solar power plants. The project involves the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and remote monitoring system of 1 MW solar power plants at various locations across Telangana. The cumulative capacity of the project is set at 1000 MW, with each plant having a capacity of 1 MW.
The EPC vendors will also be responsible for providing a comprehensive warranty and guarantee for five years, along with operation and maintenance of the plant for one year from the commissioning date. The project will be executed under the CAPEX model through a rate contract.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 29, 2024, where prospective bidders can gather more information. The last date for submitting bids is December 10, 2024, and the technical bid opening will take place on December 11, 2024.
This initiative is part of Telangana’s continued efforts to enhance its renewable energy capacity and move towards a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. The successful bidders will play a vital role in advancing the state’s solar energy infrastructure.
