DEWA Partners with EPRI to Advance Clean Energy and Innovation

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), a global leader in electric power research and development. The partnership aims to drive innovation and strengthen collaboration in renewable energy, grid modernization, energy storage solutions, and other advanced energy technologies.

Focus on Training and Development

As part of the agreement, EPRI will provide tailored training programs for DEWA employees across various domains, including smart grids, energy efficiency, distribution asset management, cybersecurity, sustainability, data analytics, renewable systems, and photovoltaic integration. These programs are designed to equip DEWAโ€™s workforce with the skills needed to anticipate and shape a sustainable energy future.

Leadership Vision

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, emphasized the partnership’s alignment with Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for clean energy and a knowledge-based economy.
