Jakson Group And OMC Power Partner For 50 MW Solar Project To Drive Uttar Pradesh’s Energy Transition

Jakson Group, a leader in Energy and Infrastructure solutions, has partnered with OMC Power, Uttar Pradeshโ€™s fastest-growing energy transition company, to execute a 50 MW solar rooftop project. This ambitious initiative, valued at approximately โ‚น200 crore, is among Indiaโ€™s largest single solar rooftop orders. The project aims to promote clean energy adoption across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh while significantly contributing to environmental sustainability.

It is estimated to reduce 62,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, which is equivalent to planting 2.5 million trees. Jakson Group will play a pivotal role in implementing the solar rooftop systems, furthering the stateโ€™s transition to renewable energy. The partnership was formalized in the presence of Mr. Sameer Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Jakson Group, and Mr. Rohit Chandra, Managing Director & CEO, OMC Power.
