GPSC and Delta Electronics Partner to Advance Renewable Energy Solutions

Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the power flagship of PTT Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delta Electronics Thailand to explore renewable energy and carbon emissions reduction solutions. The agreement, signed by GPSC President and CEO Worawat Pitayasiri, Delta Thailand COO and President Jackie Chang, and Delta Thailand Country Manager Curtis Ku, aims to drive the production of renewable electricity and enhance energy management innovations under Direct Power Purchase Agreements (Direct PPA) and Third Party Access (TPA) frameworks.

Strategic Focus on Renewable Energy and Carbon Reduction
The collaboration will assess various renewable energy sources, including solar and wind power, as well as sustainable cooling systems. These technologies will be integrated with energy storage systems and advanced transmission infrastructure to optimize energy efficiency and ensure a stable power supply for the manufacturing sector. The initiative aligns with Deltaโ€™s commitment to using 100% renewable energy (RE100) by 2030 and contributing to global greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals.

GPSC Executive Vice President-Business Development Manatchai Kongrakkawin emphasized the companyโ€™s role in energy innovation, stating, “GPSC is committed to delivering integrated renewable energy solutions tailored to customer needs. This partnership aligns with our 4S Strategy, particularly S2 (Scale-Up Green Energy) and S4 (Shift to Customer-Centric Solutions), reinforcing our dedication to sustainable power generation.”

Jackie Chang, COO and President of Delta Electronics Thailand, highlighted the companyโ€™s sustainability vision, stating, “Sustainability is central to Deltaโ€™s business strategy. Our goal of 100% renewable energy by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050 underscores our commitment to climate action. Partnering with GPSC enables us to integrate clean energy, enhance storage solutions, and expand e-mobility to build a greener future.”
