NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) has invited online bids for the development of a 2 x 3 megawatt (MW) ground-mounted solar power project at the factory of CCI Limited in Tandur, Telangana. The bidding process will follow a single-stage, two-envelope system, which includes a techno-commercial bid and a separate price bid. The last date for submission of bids is 24th April 2025, and any clarifications can be submitted until 12th April 2025. Documents can be downloaded until the same date as the bid submission.

The scope of work under this tender involves the complete Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of the solar power project. The solar PV plant will be set up behind the electricity meter and will require all necessary approvals to be obtained by the winning bidder. In addition to construction, the scope includes comprehensive operation and maintenance services for ten years, as well as an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for critical equipment for the same period.

The project is being implemented by CCI Limited, which will fund it through a mix of external or domestic commercial borrowings or from its financial resources. NVVN is acting as the Project Management Consultant on behalf of CCI Limited. Although NVVN is managing the bidding and evaluation process, the final award of the contract and all payments will be handled by CCI Limited.

Payments for the work will be released by CCI after NVVN certifies the progress and quality of the work during the construction period and for the first five years of the operation and maintenance phase. For the remaining five years of the O&M period, CCI Limited will take over the responsibility of certifying the work.

Bid security for the project is to be issued in favor of NVVN Limited, while performance security and other bank guarantees will be made in favor of CCI Limited.
