Vikram Solar Secures Major 150 MW Order to Power Maharashtra’s Green Future

Vikram Solar Limited, one of India’s leading and most trusted solar PV module manufacturers, has secured a significant 150 MW order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd (MAHAGENCO)—a Government of Maharashtra undertaking. This strategic contract involves the supply of high-efficiency N-Type solar modules, reinforcing Vikram Solar’s position on India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).

The modules will be deployed in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon and Solapur districts as part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 initiative. Delivery is scheduled to begin in FY25-26. Once implemented, the project will contribute to the state’s renewable energy goals, reduce carbon emissions, and promote environmental sustainability.Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar, commented: “We are proud to have secured this order, which marks another step forward in our mission to power a greener India through high-efficiency solar solutions.
