In a major development in Indiaโs renewable energy landscape, Realization Technologies Pvt Ltd has partnered with Jindal Renewables to ensure the on-time delivery of a landmark 2.8 GW renewable energy rollout aimed at decarbonizing steel production.
Jindal Renewables, a subsidiary of the Naveen Jindal-led group, is spearheading a clean energy transformation to support Indiaโs green steel ambitions. The company has laid out a bold roadmap comprising:
- 1.4 GW of solar energy projects, representing one of Indiaโs largest single-phase developments,
- 700 MW of wind energy capacity in Karnataka, and
- 700 MW of wind projects in Tamil Nadu.
The energy generated will be used to power steel manufacturing units in Angul and Raigarh, significantly reducing their carbon footprint.
The partnership is a strategic move to accelerate renewable operations and build a 12 GW renewable portfolio by 2030. With over 25 years of expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder project environments, Realization Technologies will play a pivotal role in delivering the project within tight timelines.
Company officials emphasized that the collaboration aims not only to meet targets but to set new industry standards for rapid, reliable, and sustainable project execution in Indiaโs green energy sector.
