Tata Powerโ€™s Mumbai Distribution division has strengthened its leadership in clean energy by supplying 2,389 million units (MUs) of renewable and hydroelectric power in FY25โ€”representing nearly 40% of the companyโ€™s total energy distribution for the year.

This includes 1,665 MUs of renewable energy and 724 MUs from hydro sources, exceeding the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commissionโ€™s (MERC) mandated renewable purchase obligation of 29.91% for FY25. The company currently supplies power to approximately 800,000 consumers across Mumbai.

This achievement highlights Tata Powerโ€™s commitment to supporting Mumbaiโ€™s transition to a low-carbon future. Through diversified clean energy sourcing, the company continues to deliver reliable and sustainable electricity to one of Indiaโ€™s largest urban centers, helping to shape a greener, more resilient energy ecosystem.
