GameChange Solar, a global provider of solar tracker and fixed-tilt racking technology, has announced plans to double its manufacturing capacity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, increasing it to 6 GW annually. The expansion, expected to be completed by September 2025, will enhance the production of the companyโ€™s advanced Genius Trackerโ„ข systems, which are used in utility-scale solar energy projects. This development underscores GameChange Solarโ€™s commitment to supporting the Kingdomโ€™s Vision 2030, which aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a leading hub for renewable energy and requires up to 70% local content in related projects.

By expanding its local manufacturing footprint, GameChange Solar is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for solar tracker systems in Saudi Arabia while adhering to national sourcing policies. The companyโ€™s Genius Trackerโ„ข system, now marking its tenth year, is designed specifically for challenging desert environments, offering durability, easy installation, and strong operational performance.

Jason Wang, Vice President โ€“ China & SEA at GameChange Solar, said in a statement, “Our decision to scale up reflects the demand we are experiencing in Saudi Arabia and our readiness to meet it. The facility is already operational, and this expansion gives us the capacity to move faster on the large-scale projects coming up in the region.
