B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited has announced a strategic investment aimed at bolstering its renewable energy footprint. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, B.Grimm Power Future Solution Limited (BGPFS), the company has subscribed to newly issued shares of B.Grimm Greenery Company Limited (BGG), resulting in a 74.99% ownership stake in the venture. The move marks a collaborative solar energy initiative with Greenergy Holding (Thailand) Company Limited, which retains the remaining 25.01% stake.
With a registered capital of THB 50 million, BGG is structured as a holding company. Its primary objective is to support renewable energy initiatives in Thailand. Notably, BGG itself holds a controlling interest in Moderngreen Energy Power 1 Company Limited (MGEP1), which operates solar power generation and distribution. As a result, MGEP1 now becomes an indirect subsidiary of B.Grimm Power, further consolidating the groupโs presence in the solar energy sector.
The company clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a connected or material acquisition under Thai capital market regulations and does not require additional disclosures related to significant asset transactions. However, it has been reported in compliance with listing regulations, as it involves the creation of a new subsidiary through investment.
The acquisition reflects B.Grimm Powerโs continued push into clean energy and its commitment to long-term sustainability, aligning with Thailandโs national renewable energy goals
