The Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) has released its 2025 PV Module Index Report. In this year’s edition, LONGi was once again honored with RETC’s top accolade—the “Overall Highest Achievers” award—for the seventh consecutive year. This prestigious recognition reflects LONGi’s exceptional performance across the three most critical dimensions evaluated by RETC: module reliability, performance, and manufacturing quality. RETC’s testing methodology, significantly more rigorous than standard IEC certifications, subjects PV modules from leading manufacturers to a battery of demanding assessments. Only 13% of all modules tested in 2025 met these high standards, underscoring the difficulty of earning such distinction.

LONGi’s continued success highlights its leadership in PV module research, engineering, and quality control. In the Reliability category, its modules excelled in critical tests such as Damp Heat (DH), Potential Induced Degradation (PID), Thermal Cycling (TC), and Static & Dynamic Mechanical Load (SDML). For Performance, LONGi achieved top marks in key metrics including Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LETID), Light Induced Degradation (LID), Temperature Coefficient, and PAN File performance. Achieving the “Overall Highest Achievers” award seven years in a row since 2019 firmly positions LONGi as an industry benchmark, reinforcing its role in driving innovation, consistency, and high standards across the global solar industry.
